yeah, this is total bullshit. as i said, the record is almost too eclectic for its own good. but i guess, Monotony, if you don't think "Leisure Suit Preben" or "Svensk Sas" are dope then you're not gonna like this record. this dude Terje is recreating classic sounds and classic vibes with a totally out of left field sonic palate. he's got a truckload of amazing piano sounds. i guess people are reacting negatively to the fact that the new tracks aren't all up the same "Scandanavian space disco" alley that he and others have been doing for years and years, but i think it's time to accept a little progression. upon repeated listens, what stands out is the strength of the rhythm section. for electronic music that has such a strong emphasis on big sounding melodic lines, the quality of the drum tracks and sounds is phenomenal. one of my personal favorites "Alfonso Muskedunder" is a tour de force of dynamic rhythms. i just love the lounge music aesthetic and i guess others don't.

comparing anything to "Inspector Norse" is just unfair.

also what the fuck does "hnng" mean?
