Re: Now Playing
I’ve found myself in a place where I’m only interested in listening to Massive Attack’s Mezzanine on repeat.

Re: Now Playing
I don't even have words for how thin-skinned I must have been for this to actually offend me.
Granted this mercifully short album was probably one of the biggest disappointments I'd ever experienced up to that point in my life so I doubt I was in the mood to roll with it by the time I got to this track.

It is what I would call a great album
CD is in my car right now and I may put it to good use later today if you catch my drift here

What if we got another one this year and it was also not disappointing?

Re: Now Playing
I think I wrote in our MBV thread how weird it was that mbv came & went but is deserving of so much more. Few albums released since come close to its greatness. Definitely didn’t disappoint and I think it’s their second best album.

Re: Now Playing
I have not watched JT's halftime show yet.
Like 6 days ago or something I heard "Can't Stop the Feeling" and it's been stuck in my head every day, when I'm falling asleep and when I wake up in the morning.
I woke up sweating at 3 am last night and couldn't stop thinking about it.
This would be easy to joke about but it's no laughing matter, I hate this

Re: Now Playing
The first time I heard that song I was like, "What's with this Jason Mraz bullshit?" I thought it sounded so simple-minded, like it was written for children. Recently learned it was on the Trolls OST and felt smugly satistfied.

I heard this for the first time end of last year and feel like it changed my life. One of the few, recent instances where I interacted with someone’s art and felt overwhelmed with emotion.
Since then I’ve played it about every other day.

Re: Now Playing
This track is immense
I saw her DJ last night and she was great. Her produced tracks are very very deep and her set was much more lively and eclectic. It was so hot in that basement.
