LA Kings are one of the most hated teams in the NHL from what I understand, but I don't think that means people will root for the team from Chicago who won the cup two years ago

I don't doubt that they're hated in Northern California but they're not even close to the most hated in a league where the Canucks, Bruins, Rangers and Penguins also play.

Northern Californians don't seem that into hating hockey teams. I could be wrong about that I guess.
