I used to wear Old Navy jeans because they were cheap but they would fall apart in like two months so I found some Levi's I think I look OK in and have been riding that ever since.

Every once in a while Mrs. W. will buy me a new pair of jeans from like J Crew of something and then I’ll start using the old ones for painting and drywall and woodwork and stuff.

On my left arm I have magnolia flowers with the words “Don’t Fade On Me” which I believe I gave the back story to in a different thread. Above that I have an uninteresting band (my first tattoo) that I’ll eventually cover up. Above that I have a large dragon covering my shoulder.

On the inside of my left arm I have a skull and just above my left elbow I have a portrait of Aladdin Sane David Bowie. Behind my left shoulder I have a person with a bird skull carrying a flower that I got one night when I was wasted in San Francisco.

On the inside of my right arm I have an aerial view of my grandparents dairy farm. I got this over the winter and fucking love it.

Those are all awesome. I'm especially into the person with a bird skull.

I'm going to be getting my next tattoo in a few months, and another a few months after that. I'm hoping to get a tattoo in each of the places I've lived so I'm looking for a cool spot in Pittsburgh and Boston, and will eventually make it back out to Europe and pop over to London for something else.

I’m looking to buy a pair of black boots. I’m considering a pair of Red Wings or 1892 Thorogood. Something that is going to last several years / shitty Chicago winters.

What is appropriate underwears for a semi non-slovenly 40-year old man to wear? I feel like I've been wearing the same plaid boxers for decades and I'm getting judges by the nurses whenever I get a checkup or whatever.

I like the Mack Weldon underwear. I wear the trunks. They're comfortably snug, look good enough - I mean, if you look good enough to begin with - and are constructed durably and thoughtfully.

I wear Calvin Klein briefs.

Do the nurses give you the stinkeye?
