You can take it to your good old fashioned corner cleaners/alterations. They'll do a fine job. Basically you want an old seamstress who repaired jeans back when that was a thing people did often, out of necessity.

Bought a pair of Gucci loafers on eBay today and a blazer from Scotch & Soda.

This along with tickets to the David Bowie exhibit at the MCA and pre-order of the Spoon album. Not a good day for saving money.

Recently went on a low-brow/high-brow shopping spree. Picked up 5 black T-shirts, black and grey color block polo, black leopard jacquard polo, white slim button down, a few white T-shirts, and likely picking up some Common Projects Achillies lows in white. Stopped buying color, feels good.

I got a t-shirt for my birthday that's 75% blackish grey but the bottom quarter is a much lighter shade. I love the fit and think I would love it if it wasn't multicoloured. I still wear it occasionally and essentially feel good about myself.

I need to buy some new running shoes so I can train for a marathon.

Soma, what is your shoe brand of choice and do you have experience in heavy milage?  For fashion and state of the art marathon durability, I highly recommend these guys:
    Clothes houndz. - Page 15 047403_3
Gel Kayano 20 in white. Pricey, but great if you're gonna log a shit ton of miles. Can pretty much run forever on these before they're totally worn. Also, I really dig the simplicity of the colour scheme here, which is less than you can say for some solid long-distance mizunos I've been running in lately http://s7d4.scene7.com/is/image/MizunoUSA/mizuno-running-mens-footwear-wave-creation-15-f-pri-410567-8H1F?fmt=png-alpha&op_usm=1.5,1.0,8,0&hei=430&wid=620

Also, I've really enjoyed running in these:
    Clothes houndz. - Page 15 Men-lunarglide
Solid cushioning, great for long distance. Definitely not as durable as the aforementioned shoes, but colour variety is awesome. If you go to the nike site (which is more expensive in the UK, sorry) you can even custom colour these bad boys.

On a totally unrelated note, I keep getting ads on Facebook for Trunk club.  Looks like a pretty fantastic idea, but I clicked on their shit and turns out they sell shirts and stuff pretty much exclusively in the triple digits range. I look awesome in cheap bullshit, so fuck that noise!

I've been wearing a pair of slim tapers from Traveller Denim for a couple months now. Possibly the best jeans I've owned. Even better than APC.

Yeah. I have a shirt, finally, but I don't think I need to mask. If I still lived in Japan, though, you'd better believe that I'd be rocking that shit all day, every day, son.

I bought some A.P.C jeans, and they aren't black or raw denim. I'm a 29 now too it seems.

    http://www.style.com/slideshows/fashion-shows/fall-2015-menswear/thom-browne/collection

This is probably my favorite show of 2015 mens fashion week. A big surprise too because I usually think Thom Browne is pretty bad overall.

Overall pretty good year for this stuff, YSL is a ruined company this shit might be well made or good fabric but its awful boring clothes. Burberry Prorsum was good because Christopher Bailey is great at picking color but otherwise kinda boring this year. Ferragamo wins for most over the top scarves. Rick Owens wins for most penis shown. Margiela wins at getting worse and worse each year. Y3 wins for will-likely-buy-the-womens-stuff shown at menswear.

Final wrap up I will buy most of this stuff at discount retailers or next year in January when its 70% off.

highly doubtful. highly doubtful that you will be able to get a a pair thru any normal means. it's gonna be sold out within minutes online. if it's any consolation, they are ugly as all hell.

I just remembered that one of my Christmas presents was a £50 gift certificate for Urban Outfitters. I want to grab a light jacket*, but I'm not seeing anything that apeals to me on the website, maybe the in store selection is different? Gonna make a stab at that later today, will post a reveal in whatever I find.

    * I had one but I left it at my mother's house and she assumed I didn't want it any more and gave it to the charity collectors, lol. It was falling apart anyway, whatever.

    Started a mens fashion website.

    http://shinshi-fuku.com

Its just a bunch of NYC street style pictures and designer backgrounds riddled with typos.

I do it all over the weekends, but yeah pretty much do that. try to get 9 pics per week, plus write/post a designer post each Wednesday.

Its actually cool, I've met a bunch of really good people that way, people with industry connections and spoke to a few "famous" people like Ezra Koenig and Lupe Fiasco too but didn't get pics cause they weren't dressed that cool according to me, a random guy with a profitless website. Might be moving to London or Paris in September so I'll prob pick it back up then and do the whole Fashion Week (month) spectacle.

Nice work. What's the website's name mean?

Maybe if the site takes off you can be like the sartorialist and travel to other cities. And eventually other countries. And like the sartorialist you may be able to go to third world countries, take pics of impoverished locals, and have people comment on how chic the look in their colorful rags and such.
