I paid significantly more than this when you factor in the price of the prescription Sad

Should have gone for transition lenses.

I've gotten a lot of mileage out of these "squared clubmaster" RB4190 shades that I feel combine the best characteristics of a traditional wayfarer and the clubmaster Soma mentioned.

Seems like they're pretty similar to the ones Yancy posted, which look sharp.

I consider myself above the wearing of sunglasses.

Tried on some squared clubmasters recently and love the shape, but my heart is set on gunmetal brushed aluminum, which is only available in a regular clubmaster. Polarized lenses too! Cool

At some point after getting over the disgust of buying $200 sunglasses, I'll probably add a more traditional looking pair of black squared clubmasters to the rotation.

Can't argue with that approach. I'm still wearing a pair of knockoff mirrored aviators I've had for like 4 or 5 years. Impossible for me to lose or break cheap sunglasses. I give the aluminum clubmasters a month.

I've been wanting to get my hands on these Oliver People's NDG Sun for some time

    Clothes houndz. - Page 4 Oliver-peoples-noir-with-indigo-photochromic-vi-ndg-sun-product-1-3425699-520884070_large_flex

but cannot justify the price right now. I have a pretty peculiar facial structure so most sunglasses look sort of silly on me, but this pair is just right.

I asked the question because I am seeing those dorky wayfarers a lot this summer. But also because I saw an interview candidate had them on top of his bag. And a new hire was standing in our lobby wearing them.

I was like what the fuck has happened to people?!?!

Used to feel this way. Now I kinda wanna keep my eyesight.

I destroy a cheap pair of sunglasses about every three months. Even some metal pair I got from Nordstrom's Rack disassembled itself fairly quickly.

I'm struggling to understand how anyone could think the act of wearing sunglasses could be 'beneath' anyone. Especially in the context of two men I've never known to particularly care about clothes posting in a fashion thread.

Buying your first pair of Ray-Bans is like buying a new car. Until you start wearing them you don't realize just how many other people have them.

Mrs. Phixed got me these for Father's Day this year:

what kind of hoodies do you guys generally wear?

navy, green, red, grey or black?

    zip or pullover?

    thermal, henley or crew neck?

Champion, American Apparel, Nike, Addidas or garage sale?

just trying to show the potential diversity of the hoodie

    anyway, what do you wear?
