the disclosure album is good as a collection of summer-ready club singles i guess, but i'm never in the mood for it (it would obviously work swell in a club context but my home listening is way softer)

other 2013 recordings i'm loving atm are the aoki takamasa album -which is full of mechanical machine rhythm variations- on naster noton, the late night synth+girl vox combo of natasha kmeto, the idk demi lovato album, the beautiful swimmers album bc it's groovy and fun and endlessly entertaining, and a couple others

The Locrian album is making me so happy right now. A very solid 2013 recording.

Do I just have problems, or is this actually incredible guitar-driven rock music?

all 3 of the albums as well as other releases on Spotify

I never really got into Blanck Mass, should be right up my wheelhouse but hasn't clicked with me yet. Still haven't listened to White Math, whatever that is.

I have been listening to this for sometime now and it just doesn't get old. The sax, the female vocal sample, the weird muddiness and fucked up EQ. Its just a perfect song that doesn't really sound like much else that I'm familiar with.

p weird coincidence that i just managed to find the exact same link via funkysouls

shit was web-released in '09, still excited to hear it

the quicksails album on spectrum spools is pretty nice as well, the kind of background chill stuff that's actually very pretty and engaging
