I just wanted to maintain thread title consistency but this should serve as a place to post about shows that we are excited about, of the the shitty garage variety or otherwise.

Just saw that The Field will be at the Empty Bottle on June 5th.

So will the Oblivians.

I'm going to the fake Black Flag reunion at Reggies, also.

D'Angelo is also playing two nights in August. It's at the House of Blues. I'll probably be there one of those nights.

If it's under $50 perhaps I will be too.

What is ICE? I'm assuming it's not this band but it would be awesome if it were.

The Oblivians show is happening in July, apparently. I would like to see those guys play their music in person.

I saw a "Compulsive Gamblers" show that was actually the original Reigning Sound plus Jack.
At the time seeing those guys in person was apretty big deal to me.
At the end they played a few songs from Time Bomb High School, which hadn't come out yet. Jack didn't look like he'd rehearsed those numbers or even been told they were going to play them.

Not both nights though. You can still see Pallbearer and a performance of Flood.

Awesome show. They closed with "Farewell" and I was losing it. Fog machines were on point as well. Excited for tomorrow night. What a fucking band. Damn.

they are weird for not playing a lot of songs every show. They should be doing 34 song Macca mega sets.

this was the setlist I got on Saturday. first appearance of Street Fighting Man this tour, believe it or not.

Considering their catalog and the price for tix, they should be doing at least 30 songs a show. If they had the balls to have some real verity their set lists, I could convince myself it would be worth the $$ to see them a 3rd time.

If they ran through 30 songs per show then one of them would have a heart attack on stage.
