I rolled my eyes when I read about that but now that I've heard it I really like it.

Complaining about getting a bad review in what sounds like a free weekly or something (by some "blogger bitch") feels like he's really punching downward but hey I guess that's a concept that doesn't really exist in bro culture.

I just find his whole persona hilarious. The fact that he looks like a middle-aged version of a secondary school bully makes it even funnier.

I only just now realized this whole thing was some sort of diss against an indie band. I had been loving the idea of a "suck my cock" rally cry aimed at shitty US policy.

The new Ice Age album makes me want to listen to Nick Cave more than continue listening to Ice Age.

This whole thing is so contemptible in such a hilarious way I'm not sure I mind that much.

American Primitivism goes pop. Really enjoyable listen.

I like that dude's guitar stylings. Haven't heard that, yet, though.

This is my favorite album of his after only a few listens. It almost reminds me of how I felt when I heard the early Presfuse 73 albums. The sound is fresh and yet so rooted in nostalgia. He's really not doing anything he hasn't done before but it seems like this is a high point upon revisiting his catalog the last few days. Like what most reviews have been indicating its very similar to the structure and sound of Cosmogramma. But to my ears this album has a more sophisticated and soft sound where Cosmogramma's motive seemed to be pummel the listener with crazy shit. This album certainly tosses the crazy shit all over the place but the pieces are more digestible and feel more cohesive. I love it!

Yeah big up on the Steve Gunn album Michael K! I saw it on P4k the other day and liked the album cover but wasn't sure I wanted to dive in. I was ready to write it off as post-WOD/Kurt Vile shit but I must say, just got to Milly's Garden and I'm fully on board with this guy.

Is track #4 on Syro borrowing some sounds from this?
