At first since she's fat, I was thinking the shirt meant that her baby was growing a playoff beard. And that made her smoking all the more St. Louis-y.
But then I realized the photo was actually more disgusting than that.

Holy shit, didn't realize how good that was till the 3rd or 4th time it scrolled through. "Controller disconnected" with floating Ovie is comedic brilliance.

According to Brent Wallace, the 13 goals third period/overtime goals by Ottawa are the most in NHL playoff history by a team that didn't allow any third period or overtime goals.

Re: [solved]Hockey Talk
Hockey questions:
1) Can a team send any player it wants into the circle for a face off?
2) In football, refs will throw a flag if a team has more than 11 men on the field at once, even if the 12th guy is on his way off and is inches from reaching the sidelines when the ball is snapped. By comparison, how closely do hockey refs watch line changes to make sure that there are only 5 "skating" players on the ice at once?
3) Can you do individual player changes whenever you want or do teams have to change entire lines at a time?
4) During a face off, if a player gets caught "going for the puck" to early before it's dropped (I'm not sure what to call this but you know what I mean), the ref will send him out and another player will have to come in and take his place. Can anyone come in to do this or does the ref choose his replacement?

Any player on the line on ice except the goalie is permitted to take a face off, although the rules describe the face off as taking place between the two teams' centers (Rule 76.3). The center usually takes the face off and is usually a player skilled at taking the face off, and the wingers are usually skilled at moving the puck from their locations off center.
If the center is thrown out a winger steps in -- the team's choice not the official's. He has to step in promptly or the puck will be dropped without him (76.4).

Individual players can change off a line. Last year Paul MacLean did this often with Zenon Konopka who was great at faceoffs and punching people but sometimes more of a liability in the offensive zone than an asset. So he'd win a crucial face off and head right to the bench.
Rule 74: http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=26485
"Players may be changed at any time during the play from the players’ bench provided that the player or players leaving the ice shall be within five feet (5') of his players’ bench and out of the play before the change is made."
calling the penalty is at the official's discretion, so it depends on how good or awful he is at his job.
