The way I'm choosing to look at it from here on out is this -
In 2010 we Hawks fans were lucky enough to experience a dominating performance in which we won the Cup and dick stomped everybody. This is a once in a lifetime type thing, and I'm just hugely thankful. I know enough Cubs fans to know how big a deal this is.
If the Hawks did this again, it would be awesome, of course, but from where we sit right now we have a chance to experience something arguably even better... another once in a lifetime type thing. Impossible, improbable, holy-shit, back from the dead comeback to win the Stanley Cup.
So yeah, I guess all I'm saying is Go Hawks. A win tonight is possible, so lets start with that. In Bar 41 on base again, got some of these:
