It'd be one thing if it was just Trump blathering away about this, but GOP leadership are humouring this and state legislatures are on board. The lawsuits are ludicrous nonsense, but Trump and McConnell have stacked the courts with party hacks looking to get promoted and are absolutely not above elevating inane garbage to do it. It's still a long shot at this point, but this is how dictatorships happen.
