A long time ago you took a picture and/or described CDs your parents had and your mom had Adventure but not Marquee Moon and someone found that funny and remarked on it and it lodged in my memory and/or I imagined it and none of that is true.

Speaking of quiet storm pleasure centers...I have been asked to provide my pilates group class with an updated mix tape. The presently rotating playlist has a lot of Bloody Cuntean "chill" Ibiza and Moby on it. Yer makin me MAAD I was thinking that the quiet storm vibe would be a welcome replacement, sultry and seductive and downtempo, like the deserts miss the rain and Sade and Jessie Ware and such.

Any song tips in that direction, Secret Gardeners?

Miguel seems to be the current go-to guy in that department. Perhaps a notch too sultry for a room where people are getting platonically sweaty, though.

I keep a frequently updated playlist of classic jams in my iTunes, many of which are of the "chill" variety. Here are just a couple handfuls of highlights:

    http://www36.zippyshare.com/v/25339805/file.html

As far as I know, I've never done a pilate, but I can imagine that doing one or two or more to any of these songs would be quite an experience.
