going through some shit right now

Rhis exact thing happened to me at pitchfork during the flaming lips a bunch of years ago. Out of nowhere I felt out of my self and I felt that I needed to Leave the crowd right away. My girlfriend and I started heading out. I would describe my walking as a heavy stumble, I practically used every person I passed to keep myself up and then the next thing I remember is my GF slapping me awake and I'm on the ground with a bunch of people just kinda starring at me. when I was able to walk again I had the worst headache of my life. Doctor had no idea what happened and basically said it was a combo of the heat, the weed, and maybe a reaction to the crowd size, like claustrophobia.

Hope you're doing ok though dude. Your fall was much worse and I hope you'll be good after some healing. If I were you I'd try Kratom. It's like an opiate but doesn't effect your breathing or digestion as much. opiates are bad news dude, trust me.

Thanks, y'all. Surgery's on Friday morning. In the meantime, I'm going to see Mdou Moctar at the Old Town School of Folk Music, tonight. I've decided to believe that this was a one-time incident and just keep on living.

That is by far the best theory that has been put forth, to this point. I'm inclined to go with it.

How is your recovery going, Zappo?

Slowly and painfully, but I am indeed recovering. They just took the screws out of my jaw. For some reason, this is done by spraying a bit of that throat-numbing spray on them shits, saying, "Okay, brace yourself. This is going to hurt," and just letting 'em rip. Brutal. Still got a few more months of blended food, which kinda sucks, but I will easily survive. Lots of complications and shit, but why dwell any more on the negative? Each day, I'm a little bit better than the day before. That's good enough.

Goddamn man. I have to get my wisdom teeth out soon and I am absolutely dreading it. Reading about how they took those screws out of your mouth is totally insane to me...

The toughest part was immediately following the surgery. I couldn't take any pills because I couldn't open my jaw, and I therefore couldn't take any elite painkillers because I'm a type 1 diabetic and the liquid versions thereof are all loaded with high-fructose corn syrup. Not a fun first two weeks, but at least I didn't skip any concerts!

What I'm trying to say is that you needn't worry--they'll give you pills that will help you through any crazy pain you might have. Everything'll be okay.

Went trough my dental implant process with only a couple of Advil.

I think the broken nerves might have had something to do with it. I’ve had no feeling in half my lip for 20 years.

Yeah, that was certainly my and the doctors' first thought. No dice, though. Blood sugar was totally normal. 111, to be exact.

They pulled the sutures out of my shoulder last Friday and I almost passed out. I shouldn’t have looked down to see that blue wire/string stuff just sticking out of my skin once the bandages were removed.
