rather enjoying the new Field album. it's all chilly and murky sounding. perfect for how grey and shitty it was out yesterday.

still though, it felt like it had been marketed as some dark noisy thing and it's not that at all, pretty much classicist Field noises, just not as colorful.

also listened to the huerco s. album this morning, which was good too.

Bill Callahan is amazing. Two sublime classics in a row. Flight is delayed in Seattle & I almost don't give a shit because I have Dream River.

by my count it's three, unless you were cooler on Eagle than a lot of folks.

I'm assuming it's some combination of both. Your credibility when you say things like "the new Macca single is the best of the year" would be greatly increased if I knew that you had listened to something current, and by that I mean an artist who isn't being stalked by the grim reaper.
