Am I getting negged more often because people are upset with posts? Growing disinterested with my shtick? Or is it just SpiritOfEden seeking vengeance because I told him I wanted to reach though my computer screen and choke him?

I'm pretty much okay with either or all responses being affirmed.

I think Spiritofeden, Ned Braden and some of the other rock and rollers will enjoy this.  Dilettantes and dabblers could certainly do worse in 2013.

Sorry doggs, I've been overreacting because I've been stuck inside for the past week with nothing to do and am pissed at myself for being on the Internet instead of making better use of my time. I've been reading a lot of hipinion stuff and I want to thank everyone here from reining my shit in throughout the years. I probably would have been, and to a certain degree still am, as obnoxious as some of the people on there.

He's actually the best dude. Always seems to drop his new shit about the holidays for us.

When that opening track kicks in and I heard that sample I lost it. This must have been what the moon landing was like for the previous generation.

very weird and the songs can sound a little thin, but there's still something interesting here and they're still an interesting duo. "Alive" is pretty sweet. i might get all the way through this, actually.

a song like this does more to suggest their next album will be good than it does to convince me they've arrived

I can't recall the other Chromatics songs (or any other songs) from AD2. As soon as I heard "Cherry," I just put it on repeat.

I enjoyed this so much today. I love that there's an American version of Bag Raiders and that they're actually really good.

Are there people who would defend the new Cut Copy but not even listen to this?

Ahhhh thank you. I had heard Safe and Sound several times while out, but didn't know what it was as it wormed around in my head for a while. I'll check out the album, thanks.

"Safe and Sound" was good. this is closer to indie-dance than full on dance or house music for me though.

I didn't hate their performance on New Year's Rockin' Eve.

I know Capital Cities are being positioned as the kind of band I should like, but when I hear that song I get too much of a Bastille vibe. Undo's recommendation carries a lot of weight, though, so I'll be spotifying that shit.
