With next to zero knowledge whatsoever about what is going on with the NFL at the moment, I guess I can tentatively say that I am glad there is a guy named Johnny Football in the league who people seem to care about.

If Johnny Football wins the Cleveland starting job the season will instantly become at least 44% more entertaining.

I'm a big fan of Bill Simmons and I am glad he said what he said.

I was also looking at the Bears schedule and realized they have 6 primetime games this year (already played 2). Pretty wild.

I knew when I was listening to that pod he was going to get in trouble. I think Sal knew it too but couldn't stop him.

ESPN censoring him is disgusting and I hope he leaves along with Men in Blazers.

I dunno if it's possible for Simmons to leave without pulling the plug on Grantland, which is the only part of ESPN's empire I give two shits about.

Packers aren't going to be very good either this year. Unless Aaron Rodgers can consistently keep his QB rating somewhere near 150 every fucking week. How about that one touchdown throw that came back because of the holding call. Dude is ridiculously talented at what it is he does.

The GB defense gave up tons of yards but only 17 points. Week before they only gave up 9 and had 3 turnovers. I think they will be fine. Probably look awful throughout the season but if they create turnovers - something they didn't do the last 2 seasons - and the offense stays on track... Could be a big year.
