Bruegs/Vurt/whomever else has been up on their shit this year. It's finals week for this guy which means I have like 500 pages to read and 45 pages (double spaced, times new roman 12pt font) to write in the next like 10 days.

So basically I'm just gonna be locked in my apartment drinking insane amounts of coffee and hopefully vibing out to tunes basically 24/7 because it keeps me calm and sane throughout this fucking process. What are some favorite releases this year for you guys? You mentioned Willie Burns, what shit of his should I be checking out?

Kareen/Blawan/Trade/Pariah and all of the SHEWORKS stuff

I don't have much going on at work so I wanted to give this new Arcade Fire album a chance but I cannot get through the first disc.

Holy Christ is this awful. Maybe the shittiest thing I've heard all year and I listened to a 3 hour Grateful Dead concert.

My life is a complete mess right now. I've got like 25 pages to write, some multimodal drawing assignment to do (which lol, I can't fucking draw for shit) and another 200 pages to read and comment on.

I've got 48 hours to do this. Which means I won't be sleeping basically at all. I've already developed a killer headache and the right side of my body feels weird. Also, I'm eating cold lasagna right now with a fucking spoon.

But this fucked up experience has given me some time to bang out a lot of the recommended albums. So thanks for that mate! Also, when this is over (at 11:59 pm on Tuesday) I am going to enter a fucking six week break that will consist of nothing other than lounging and drinking lethal amounts of alcohol. So that will be pretty fucking cool, maybe.

Just finished one paper. Onto the next soon but I got distracted listening to "Midnight on the Bay" by Neil Young and watching a bunch of Kanye West interviews.

I've got about 15 pages left and this drawing project. About to call my ex-girlfriend who is back in town and goes to art school in Savannah, Georgia. I'm desperately hoping that I can give her my ideas and she can actually execute that shit for me.

I think I'm gonna be good y'all. Just trying to think about how fucking groovy it is gonna be when I sit down for Thanksgiving dinner, stress free with a plate full of stuffing and mashed potatoes.

What do you have to draw?

It's a project about bio-security in Chicago. I have a rough sketch of what I want to do with it but I don't really have the time or energy right now to explain it. It would be used to raise awareness of the detrimental effects of our extreme dependency on surveillance mechanisms (and their intended negative consequences).

Originally I wanted to do a video and use Terry Riley's "You're Nogood" as both the soundtrack and foundation but that couldn't be accomplished in this insane time crunch. Oh fucking well.

WP if you don't share that project with the board I will ban you for the holidays.

Just wanted to update y'all on my condition because its the bleakest it has ever been.

I haven't slept in 48 hours and have one last final to write (which is my hardest and is a minimum of about 13 pages). The right side of my throat is unbelievably swollen and I can't really swallow anymore. That pain has traveled into my right eardrum and jaw and there is an excruciating pressure in my right ear to the point where I cannot hear out of it and it hurts like a fucking bitch.

I have 13 hours to get the rest of this done and then I am just going to crash like never before. Fuck Thanksgiving dinner yo. I'm gonna be out until at least Saturday. Hopefully this experience doesn't have any longterm consequences to my health because I'm actually frightened right now.
