So Raanta the other day (in the quietest 40 Dave effort I've seen in a while) was apparently the first Chicago goalie to post 40 saves and allow just one goal since Craig Anderson in 04.

11-2-0 in the past 13. 6 straight wins. Most of them being on the road and against a lot of quality playoff bound teams. Could not be happier to look at the division standings right now and see the Hawks back where they belong.

I heard that! A buddy of mine at work is a big Bruins fan, so naturally we were talking hockey this morning and he brought it up. Really want to get some tickets for this weekend, but Army-Navy game obligations and Ludacristmas parties complicate the issue.

For sure. Hawks looked like they were on the PP for the entire third tonight. Puck movement was a thing of beauty.
As pretty as that Sharp goal was, I still sorta wish they'd have shopped him in the off season. All star, consistently among team leaders in goals, but a shoot first dude who drains his teammates of possession and has frequent defensive lapses and/or games where he sorta just floats around waiting for one of his better teammates to get him the puck. Would've gotten a good return and helped free up cap space in a trade. Still admire his good looks though.

I really miss living in Chicago. Would be nice to be hanging around with Hawk people these days, even if it'd probably drive the wife nuts.
