Tourney Committee putting Murray State as a 12 seed was a master stroke. Had a high upset potential and builds more excitement around Ja in the next round.

Just because I don’t have any memory of it doesn’t mean it isn’t a regular occurrence. But is it normal for like 5 marquee players to go down with season-ending injuries every year?

Man, that shit was BRUTAL.

The Blazers are my "favorite team" in the sense that I'm most invested in their team dynamics and the feeling around the franchise. I'm a Warriors superfan, but their success has reduced my enjoyment of them to rooting for cold efficiency in dispatching our mortal foes around the NBA. With the Blazers, I have a feel-good fandom where I want to see their players "do well" or "go on to great things". I have a soft spot for Will Barton for that reason.

This is truly devastating for them. Nurkic's improvement in the second half of this season to reliable 20/10 guy, improved defense, playmaker and basically the team's second option had drastically improved their ceiling. Not that they actually would have made waves in the playoffs, but they could've won a series or scared a few teams. There would have been a feel-good factor going into next year. There would have been a clear direction and avenue for improvement. Now, that's all gone. 

Nurkic will be out all of next season and they'll likely be thinking of moving on from him from this point forward. The discussions about moving CJ for picks will intensify. There isn't as much riding on the development of a player like Jake Layman because regardless of what happens with him, they'll still be stuck in the bottom/middle of the West playoff picture.

It's sucky.

To be fair to TNT this game was scheduled to be on tv like 8mo ago. They expected LeBron to play when it was scheduled.

Eric Bledsoe forced the bench Bucks to play way better last night. In a way it’s good for experience but he needs to control his emotions. Playoff game might not be so forgiving

LeBron still has the ability to go in and blow things up.

Who cares? I'm poor and without cable and I just found out that, starting next year, WGN ain't broadcasting no more Bulls, Hawks, or Sox games. Unless they're playing on ABC, NBC, or FOX, I'm out. This is fucking stupid.

I have watched literally hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of games on this station, over the years.  No fooling, this kind of breaks my heart.  Damn.  At least I've got the memories, I guess, but fuck this.

You can have your 4OT thriller but I prefer watching how in the 3rd quarter the Bucks were down 5 with around 6 minutes left and then Middleton and Hill knocked down some shots, suddenly the Bucks are up 11 and the Celts call a timeout knowing at that point they’re going to lose.
