We built a home gym during COVID.
Broke down and got a Pelton ("for my wife") but I ended up loving it. Despite the fact, I fucking hate cardio normally.

I do reps at 225-245 most chest days.
I canceled my gym membership at the start of the pandemic and did the same as you. We have a couple benches, a lot of dumbbells and plates. A couple of bars as well.

My coworkers are in complete disbelief that I haven't taken a vacation in several years (most of them take 3 per year, some somehow cramming them all into the past 2 months) and on one hand, who cares what they think? Yet they did succeed in getting me to think about it. I have so much PTO stored up it's ridiculous. Why not plan something for this fall?
The last week has me thinking that's just not gonna happen.
