i can't imagine that would be possible without having previously had the experience of feelings that made me want to kill myself.
i've certainly heard jokes that made me never want to associate with another individual ever again, but i can't imagine a joke that would have that same kind of impact on my feelings about myself. that is pretty odd.

was really exhausted at in the final hour of a 5-day stretch of work, really annoyed because of work-related bullshit, sad that I wasn't able to watch what turned out to be the final game of the Stanley Cup playoffs, and was going through massive withdrawal from 3 weeks off my medication.
I guess that it didn't actually make me want to kill myself but it did make me wish that I would suddenly drop dead right there on the spot.
