Ha... Didn't even realize there was a new future tape by that name, so I was scratching my head trying to figure out what it had to do with this thread.

I think the only new album I've heard is the Jesu/Sun Kil Moon collab. It sounds like the Lou Reed & Metallica album with some IDM sprinklings. I didn't think I'd play it a second time but then I did. A third play may not be in the cards, however.

Arthur Russell, Ghostface and Mr Fingers jumped out.

I got to the line about bleached assholes and was just like fuck man I can't go on. I was all on board the Kanye sense of humor train when it was about croissants, but this shit's jumped the shark.

Will most definitely give the album more attentive listens, but not feelin it on this day.

This is the only track other than "No More Parties in L.A." that I really like on the first listen. That sample is masterfully done. Kanye is one of the few artists that could pull off something like this and it is the reason that I always am excited for a new Kanye record even though I'm usually left somewhat annoyed by the last three releases.

Edit: Actually "Real Friends" is great too.

I embrace everything about Kanye at this point. Every song. Every album. His Tweets and even his ugly overpriced clothing line. I love it all!

This whole thing's in my head now. Yeah, it's good. The Arthur Russell track is fantastic. Part of me is annoyed that A3K is there and barely contributing some background vox while Kanye adlibs dumb shoutout verses, but the other part of me is really enjoying what sounds like Kanye trying and failing to bait 3 stacks into spitting out some bars.
